2,250 FAMILIES AFFECTED BY TROPICAL STORM MARING IN CENTRAL LUZON RECEIVE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE

Sept 26, 2013 -  ABI and CDRC delivered relief goods to 2,250 families in Aurora, Zambales, Tarlac and Nueva Ecija after Typhoon Labuyo and Tropical Storm Maring hit the region. This activity was made possible through the support of Civic Force and Japan Platform, Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe and the NIDO Petroleum-Philippines. 


Tropical Storm Maring caused flashfloods, destroying most of the crops of the rice farmers. Earlier, Typhoon Labuyo battered the northern municipalities of Aurora destroying houses, school buildings, government structures, crops and livestocks of the majority of the residents.
